🔹 How do I place a bid on an auction?
Simply create a free account, log in, and visit any live auction page. You’ll see the current bid and a field to place your bid. Proxy bidding is supported — meaning you can enter your maximum bid and the system will bid automatically in increments.

🔹 How do I pay if I win an auction?
After the auction ends, the seller will contact you directly to arrange payment. Most accept:

  • đź’ł PayPal (Goods & Services) — recommended
  • đź’· Cash on collection
  • 🏦 Bank transfer (at your own risk)

🔹 Are the invertebrates healthy and captive bred?
Yes — all sellers must list only healthy, captive-bred inverts. Wild-caught species or illegal listings are not allowed and will be removed.

🔹 Can I collect in person instead of delivery?
Absolutely. In fact, we encourage local collection wherever possible for the safety of the animals and peace of mind.

🔹 What if a seller doesn’t deliver?
BugBazaar takes this seriously. We review all complaints. Sellers who don’t fulfil orders or ghost buyers are banned. Always report issues via the “Report Listing” button or contact admin.

📦 SELLERS

🔹 How do I list an auction?
Once approved as a seller, log in and go to your Seller Dashboard. Select “Add New Auction”, fill in the product details, add your images, and set:

  • Starting price
  • Reserve price (optional)
  • Buy It Now price (optional)
  • Auction end date

🔹 Is there a fee to list auctions?
No. During our early-access period, listing auctions is completely free. We may introduce optional upgrades later (like “Featured” auctions), but basic use is free.

🔹 What can I sell?
You may list any captive-bred invertebrates, including:

  • Isopods (e.g., Cubaris, Armadillidium)
  • Springtails
  • Millipedes
  • Roaches
  • GALS (snails)
    You may also list related items like enclosures or leaf litter — as long as it’s invert-focused.

🔹 Are sellers rated or reviewed?
Yes. Buyers can leave feedback and ratings after transactions. Trusted sellers can also earn a “Verified Breeder” badge once approved by the BugBazaar admin.

🔹 Can I request a species not currently listed?
Yes! Use the “Wanted Listings” feature or post in the forum. You can also contact breeders directly to see if they’ll list what you’re looking for.

🔹 Are wild-caught inverts allowed?
No. We only allow captive-bred, legally sourced invertebrates to be listed.
